“I define connection as the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship.” ~Brenѐ Brown
I sat down in the circle to just listen…
… and for the first time in my life I wasn’t alone.
Something inspired happens when you enter a room with others who share something significant in common – when the natural rhythm of connection unfold,s and the conversation moves from the surface to the depths for the first time… and the whole room feels it and moves with it.
That is when healing happens.
Among the most helpful things about a group experience…
… is that each individual member brings a unique perspective and is in a different place of readiness for courageous action.
So, group members take turns “trailblazing”… risk-taking… and no single person feels pressure to reach beyond what he or she is ready for.
Without pressure, group members can inspire each other to feel safer in taking emotional risks.
“Women Empowering Women”
For the past nine years, I have had the honor of facilitating this incredible group alongside Kathryn Benson, who is also a licensed substance use disorder specialist.
On Thursday nights in 6-week cycles, group members meet from 6 pm to 8 pm to empower one another to forge healthier relationships with themselves and others.
By creating and holding safe space for each other, we tackle together the challenges that have blocked fulfillment and joy.
We maintain an intimate group size of no more than 10 group members and take breaks at the end of each cycle to allow individuals to step in or exit group with ease. The group cost is $50 per person for each group session.
We are saving a seat for you.
Allow yourself the opportunity to experience the power of joining other courageous individuals on a path toward healing. Bring wisdom from your journey and borrow the wisdom of others.
We would love to have you join us. Please contact me and join this amazing group of courageous women.
